So if everybody, I'm back for another episodeof the Average Savage podcast, our special guest today is a J galanti A JHow's it going? Good paul. Thanks for having me bro. I appreciate you comingon. Uh Yeah yeah I know. So you've beendoing so let's just go into it. I know uh so a little background so for thelisteners that don't know the documentary, many doc, whatever youwant to call it untold stories, penalties and crimes, crimes andpenalties, Danbury Trash Ear's you were the GM at 17 um how much are you sickof doing interviews yet? Hey, you know what man? It's it's it's such anincredible story as I'm learning to appreciate it more and more as I'vegotten older. You know what I mean? So it's one of those things where I could talk about it all day in aweird way not because not because it's like an ego thing just because it'sjust um I'm just so humbled how many people are just so interested in in thestory itself. Yeah. Yeah for sure. Like I I knew about it, but I didn't knowlike the full details about, like I'm 29. So back then I was like what? Idon't know really young. So yeah, I knew about the whole story and thingslike that, so it was dope to actually see it and just being from Connecticutis dope to see like, you know, put Connecticut on the map and things likethat. Um and then yeah, you're going to the interviews that you've been on. Iknow you've been on big ones, like you just were on the bar stool one, you'reon dan Lebatard, you're on Pat Mcafee show what's happened like just to be onlike national shows,...

...you know man, it's, it's um treat, look,I'd be lying if I say it was, it's not a cool experience, it's definitely acool experience, but you know what man I mean, talking to you is just as muchof a thrill to me, you know, I I tried to always always raised that way totreat everybody equally and you know, there are some people with biggerstature or whatever, but you know what, it's, it's uh it's just humbling, youknow that anyone is so interested in in the, in the dock and the story and theand the team. Yeah, for sure. What, and then like when did netflix, like firstreach out to you about it. So the way Brothers Mclean and ChapmanWay are the producers of the whole series for netflix, the untold series.Mclean emailed me, I want to say it was like Around Thanksgiving time in 2018actually and it's crazy to think how different the world was back then. Butthey reached out to me and uh honestly man, I've been, I've been so tired oftalking about the trash is up until that point, you know, I mean it waskind of like, oh God, like what is this guy talking about? And he kept houndingme and I kind of was putting them off, putting him off. He finally, I don'tknow how he got my um, he got my phone number and he called me and I listenedto him and he pitched the whole series and he, you know, explained, you knowhow he's got mouths and you know, Caitlyn Jenner, you know, allthe other episodes, like we really were really excited about adding the trashis to the mix and I thought he was insane because I'm like how are wegoing to like, how are we gonna like be an asset to a series when it has suchbig stories already, you know involved And he's like, no, no, no, trust me,we're gonna make this, this is gonna be crazy, I'm telling you so we molded over me and my fatherspoke about it and um you know, we, we were, we were on the fence at first, but you know, we said, you know what we, since he's been home, we haven't reallysat and talked about it together and kind of done a collaborative, you know, collaborative effort together. So he's like, let's just, you know, we decidedwe're just gonna do it like, you know,...

...let's, we thought put this story to bedand it's kind of like been, it's kind of been like a fricking resurgence now. It's it's it's it's insanity. Yeah, Yeah, for sure. Yeah. What, what kindof response have you got to know? You had like a grand premier at the, it wasat the arena, right? Yeah, I was at the ice arena where we played and you know, that was another thing, that was another thing, I mean it was a Tuesdaynight, you know, school was just starting, you know, it was kind of acool thing at first we're like, yeah, we're gonna do the premier, it's gonnabe dope about. And then you start remembering like, hey, we're not thetrash is aren't coming back for a game. So it's like how many people actuallygonna come? You know? And it's, it's like as we got closer, I mean weweren't gonna pull the plug on it, you know that far? But I'm like, oh man, this is, It's gonna be tough, you know? And the producers from Netflix, we'recoming down and I'm like, Oh God, I was like that's gonna be like 20 peoplethat show up, you know what I mean? So you know it was dude it was nervewracking man and dude like 700 people showed up I mean on aTuesday night to watch a netflix documentary, they could watch in thecompany of their own home or something. It was you know, super humbling man.The whole experience that I just keep using the word humble and like it'sjust uh it's unreal to see how much the team has impacted people, especially locally, you know, here in Danbury Connecticut as a whole and nowit's like it's touched people from all over the world which is it's crazy tomake it really, it really is. Yeah, for sure. What about like when you watch itlike the first time did you get to watch it before it came out, nope. Andthat's the thing, a lot of people. Yeah, so you talk about like, like no weweren't, we contractually weren't able to see it you know, first you know, so it didn't hit me this whole experiencedidn't hit me until the individual trailer came out for treasures and Iwas just like oh my God this is...

...actually happening, you know? And thenit was like they debuted the trailer like five days before the doc dropped Ithink from that point forward it was like you know christmas eve like you goto bed and you can't sleep, you're like you just want to wake up and let itjust be there, you know what I mean? And that's, it was like nerve wrackingbro. I was like as we got closer, I'm like, oh God, what's going to be onthis thing, you know? And look, I've gotten really? I got super close andsuper tight with the producers. Um you know, they're younger than me,obviously actually you're 20 what you said 6, 20 nine. Yeah, so one of thebrothers is 29, the other one I think is a year to younger. So you know,we've gotten really close and they're like, no, no, no, you're gonna like it,trust me, I'm telling you're gonna like it and uh it was just nerve wrackingbecause you just don't know what's going to be, you know, they could justbe playing me and all of a sudden they have us looking really, I mean, insane. But overall I got to tell you man, I was I was beyond um happy with how itcame out. I mean, the production was insane. Uh you know the visuals, theaudio, I mean, it was like super cinematic and I, I don't know what Iwas expecting, but I definitely wasn't expecting that. Yeah, for sure. Yeah,it's definitely hard to capture like a good documentary and I like I alreadywatched like three out of the five so far, I'm probably gonna watch the othertwo and they all been like pretty, they all been like well put together andlike, even though like, for example, like the malice in the Palace of course, like I knew about it and stuff like that, but you know, more details ofeverything always. So that was like, cool to see. Um did you watch theCristi marin one? Oh yeah, I mean, I've watched them all and that's that, that's what made me nervous is we were number four of the five. Each oneseemed to get better each week and I'm like, oh God, don't let the tractors belike a flop, you know what I mean? Because it was like every singleepisode was really good and each week it seemed to get better and better. AndI was just like, I was so nervous. I'm like, oh God, I wish we would have justbeen first. You know what I mean? And...

...uh, they set the bar high andthankfully, you know, the reception has been pretty good with, with ours, sohopefully it'll just keep going. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Um, and then justgoing back when you were 17 and your dad names you as the GM and presidentof the team. Um, like, I know I watched like other interviews and things likethat and you're still in high school and then you go to college, but myquestion is why, why did you even go to college? My mother? You know, my, my mom's like, you're going to college and that that's, that's that's it, you know, I mean, youknow, even without the hockey team, I mean, I I just I was just going to gowork for my dad anyway, you know what I mean? So it was kind of, I agree, it'skind of like why, you know, and uh but no, she's like, no, you're going tocollege and you're gonna get your degree and you know, you gotta do whatmom says. Yeah, for sure. And then how was that? Just like balancing like onewhen you're in high school then you were in college, like with the team anddoing school work really hard man. I mean, it was theadjustment was, it was tough. I mean, you know, you're bouncing around, Imean, you know, college alone is hard, especially the first year you're kindof finding your bearings. I was I was deworming there too. Um you know, whereI was was only like 45 minutes from us, so it wasn't too far away. But you know,it's like I had, I had a girlfriend at the time that was home, so you know, you're balancing your social life, you're balancing school now, you gotthis whole thing, it was tough, but you know, we we um we had a good teamaround us, you know, and it didn't all fall on me or my father, we had a goodteam and uh, you know, I get a lot of credit and I appreciate it. But we, wedefinitely was a team effort. Yeah, yeah, I think a lot of people don'trealize, I mean in the doctor, you guys obviously made the championship, butyou guys are like actually good and like, so did like anybody ever hit youup after like two to hire you? Like NHL wise or like any other leaks, You know,it's, it's so weird you say that...

...because so many people have commentedand said that, oh, agent should be in league now or something. I don't know man, I just, I don't knowone ever reached out. I don't think I was going to get a call from the NHLthat's for sure. But you know, I mean, it was one of those things where, when, when the team was gone, it was like, I was telling people, I wanted nothing, nothing to do with hockey, you know, after we lost the team, it wasn't thesports fall, it was just, I didn't want to be around. It was like PTSD, youknow what I mean? It was like, we had this run and as quickly as we got upthere, it was just just flamed out and no, I mean, I never, I just figuredthat was it. You know, I was just like, that's it, you know, we peaked and thatwas it. Yeah, for sure that one of the funniest parts of the doc was just likethe wrestlers coming to your birthday party just like being huge and you guysare just being like small. It was just funny. Um, and I know they weren't likewhat they are today like now looking back at it, isn't it? Is it like crazyto you? Like how, how big they became. Listen, we have some good luck rub onsome of these guys. The only restaurants I've ever met on thatcapacity for whatever the reason like within a year after Dave blow up beyondit. I mean the rock wasn't even the rock, I mean tripling all those guysand china that came to my birthday. They were literally like, they were bigbut they weren't like what they became like eight months later and beyond andum, even john cena when he came to the game actually posted about john cenatoday on the trashes account when he came, he was you know, big wrestler. But it was like after that he just exploded. And I like to pretend like itwas all because of us obviously. But no man, I mean it's, it's to this day whenI see the rock on tv every other commercial, I'm just like, that's soweird and my mom says it all the time. Every time she sees him, he was in ourbackyard and I'm like, I know it's so it's so, it's so crazy and they just, they became larger than life. No pun...

...intended. They just, they just blew up.Yeah definitely has has a rock reach out, has he seen the doctor? No I don'tI have no idea. I'm open the season because you'll probably die laughing. Imean you know Lord knows if he'll ever see it. But you know I have a feelingTriple H. Might have seen it. I hope he had and uh you know I mean he livesright there. He lives right around the block. Exactly. So I'm trying to getI'm trying to get my uh my my W. W. Debut one day just I just wanted oneand done. That's it. Yeah that'd be cool. I just saw like yeah they justhad like trae young on just like trying to randomly in the garden. But that'sthat's what I want. I want to be a pro. Like I want to come out. My dream. Mydream obviously was you know that was my first love. My dream was toobviously be arrested. Seriously I really thought I was gonna be a prowrestler. That was that was it. And uh I'm a little older now. I'm not, I'mnot a big guy so I would love to be a bad manager. Like a bad guys managercome now stir it up. That's what trading did last week is exactly themoment I want that's it. I just want an asshole chant and go on my way at thispoint could happen like you're blowing up everyone Dude. All I really wantfrom this. I I told people, the only thing I really want to come out of thisnetflix thing is to bring more attention to, you know, uh the boxers Ideal with and my gym and trying to build something special here for theseguys. But the main thing I want, especially as I just want my W. W.Moment man, that's it. If I get somehow got big, if this dog blew up big enoughwhere they thought they could bring me in for a little heat. My life is Idon't I wouldn't have to work again. That that would be it for me. I waseverything I needed and telling, I'm guaranteeing you that people at W. V.Definitely watch it. They had to uh I'm going to keep pushing it, I'm going tokeep putting it for sure. And then again uh blew up, you tell me the drakestory, how he got your Jersey...

...man. You talk about surreal. I mean I'msitting exactly where I'm at now in my my house. And uh So it was the dayafter the documentary premiered. So it was Wednesday. I want to save Septemberone Wednesday. And I noticed he started following me on, you know him orsomeone who's handling the phone from ended up following me on instagram andI was like that's weird. And then he ended up following Nigeria. I was likewhat? That now that's really weird. So I kind of left it alone, whatever I wasbusy doing whatever, and then finally like it just was bugging me, so I d. Mthem off the trash er one, and I'm just like, hey man, thanks for the follow, you know, that was it. And um you know, he responded and I wasjust like this camp, there's no way this is uh there's no way this isreally him. Long story short, we end up on a, you know, video call and you know, his face pops up and I'mjust like holy shit, it was it was so weird, like It didn't hit me to like after I wasjust like you know, we we talked for like 15 minutes or so and super humbleguy. I mean, I can't even tell you, like super humble was telling me how wewatched the documentary, he really enjoyed it. Um and I was just like this is this isinsane, you know what I mean? So then he told me he's like, hey man, you know,I got this album and I live under a rock now, so I didn't even know he hadan album coming out. So he uh he's like yeah I got this album coming out, Ileave for Houston or text wherever he was going, like he's like can you getme something tomorrow? I'm like Damn, I mean we haven't played a game in 15, 16year, I was like I don't have jerseys. Just, you know, contrary to believepeople think I have like a war chest of jerseys over here and everyone'shitting your jersey. I'm like, I don't have him. So he's like, and what tomake it worse was, he literally said like, I want the one with your name onit, if you have it. And I'm like, oh...

...man, I was like, I don't, I don't havethe, and I didn't play, you know what I mean? But you know, sometimes something is infront of you every day. You don't even remember it's there. And I remember,I'm like, oh man, I got my jersey, um, the trash of prototype jersey, thefirst one they ever made um framed in my office at the gym. So I'm like, screw it, I went in there, I broke the frame, I was like, fuck it. And I gotit out of there. And it was funny because it was big becauseback then, you know, I would think so big. Obviously we all did deep down, but it was a big jersey and I'm like, you know, it takes a big guy, but he'snot that big. I'm like, oh man, it was like, he probably won't even wear thisbecause it's pretty big. So I had a guy, I know and a buddy of mine and he waswilling to drive it up to Buffalo, There's a casino up in Buffalo. And heended up sending someone from Canada, which you know, right over the borderthere, like an hour and a half or so. Guy gave him the jersey, I figured, youknow, maybe he just wanted it or he wanted to take a picture and send it tome. And then dude, saturday, that saturday morning, you know whenever hisalbum dropped or whatever. I mean my phone at like 23 in the morning, itstarted like lighting up like, like I can't even explain it. And the firstthing I thought is something happened, you know, something that early in themorning. I'm like, oh God, don't tell me, you know, first thing I think aboutis, you know, someone pass away. There's something happened. There wasmessages coming into my phone so fast. Seriously? No exaggeration. I know thissounds like dramatic but dude, I couldn't even operate the phone becauseit was like, I was trying to press like the, the text icon to like see, but Icouldn't because there was so many things coming in. I literally, I justput the phone, I'm like, I don't know what's going on. I thought there was aglitch or something. Like I literally can't operate the phone sure enough Iwas able and then all of a sudden I just started, people started sendingscreenshots and tagging me with him with him and he posted it 23 times. Iwas like, this is crazy man. I was like,...

...this is insane. And uh it was like oneof the most surreal moments I ever saw him in my life honestly. And uh it wasa gift and a curse because then these orders started coming in and things Idon't even have ready. And it's just like, you know now it's like I'vebecome like ups over here, I'm trying to figure out shipping and like how toship international. So we're gonna have thankfully we're going to make anannouncement tomorrow but we're going to have a jersey pre sale next week andjust start, you know, the vendors are like, dude, we, you know, we can't keepup with this right now. It's like, you know, hockey jerseys are hard to, youknow, uh, manufacturer with the stitching and the tackle twill. Sowe're working on it. But it's it's it's it was a gift and a curse because man, people just, they don't let up man, they want their jersey like now. AndI'm like, well gotta wait a little bit. I'm figuring it out. Yeah, yeah, forsure. How can you tell me like how many shirts you guys sold honestly since the documentary dropped? Probably probably just t shirts just tshirts. Oh, probably pushing 1000 at this point.Like probably 1000 t shirts. And you know, and honestly I stopped evenadvertising that we have merchandise because we can't keep up with it rightnow. Like I literally have to like hire people right now to help me with thisbecause it's with everything else going on. Like I don't have time to likedidn't put these in, you know, so we're working with different vendors, we'regonna start simplifying it, but had I had any more prep time for this, itwould have been a lot smoother. But you know, sometimes when the opportunitycomes, you just gotta, you just gotta pounce on it. Yeah, definitely. What, like for the jerseys, like, are you gonna, well, are you coming out withjust the black ones, the blue ones or what colors were going to give them all?I mean, we're going to start literally, people are literally because of himasking for the 17 Galanti Jerseys, which is, it seems to me, you know,it's like, it's like, I'm like, dude, I...

...wasn't a player, you know what I mean? And it's like, but people are literally asking for that one specifically. Sowe're gonna start off with a pre sale on that one. And in the meantime we'realso going to start working on, you know, the other jerseys are away whiteones, The alternate blues. We had a couple of specialty ones that we played. You know, we had like a caMA one that people wanted a ST Patrick's day one.Um and what we might come up with some exclusive, like limited, we mightcollab with other brands maybe do like a limited. Well listen, I, I kinda I kind of likeplanted the seed there, so maybe maybe in the future but you know uh you knowlike I know people want the Wingfield jerseys who played for us so we'regonna have like customer options if people want their number of names on it.So we're working it. But literally it's like it happened so fast and I reallyhad no expectation of it being being like this at this point. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. I don't know, I I checked on Ebay, there's a brad Winfield jersey ontheir guess how much they're trying to sell it for five grand. Yeah, 5000 there by now for7000. Please don't buy that, please just wait a few more weeks or something.Like don't do that. People get themselves jammed up please be and hewould be pissed if he knew someone paid that much for, for that, you know whatI mean? But hey, you know what, you know what, listen, you know, there's people, you knowsometimes you don't know where you're sitting on gold. I mean a lot of peoplebought those jerseys back then and uh you know what, sometimes you're sittingon, you know, you know one day it's just sitting in your closet the nextday, it's worth five grand. I mean it's crazy how fast things are nowadays. It's insane. Yeah, I think, I mean, I think your jersey is basically gonnabecome like the whalers one like that. So that's like one of the most uh likefamous ones now. Like everyone has, it's so ridiculous. I'm like, I didn'teven play, you know what I mean? But I...

...think people like it because the logosdope. I think that's the thing too. Like the logo is crazy. I mean it'sit's it's insane. It's just um it's gonna be interesting, but it's cool.Like how, how long like, Like you would, if you saw it today, like you wouldn'tthink that was made in 2004. Yeah, I think that's what it is too. It's like,it looks like still, it looks modern. Well, I tell you a story that not a lotof people have heard before, how that logo came about to be honest with you.Actually, there's not many people who know, I don't think I've told thisstory to pass podcast. I've done was so, believe it or not when we came up withthe team, you know, my dad came up with the name trash Urz. I hated it at first.I'm like, oh, that's a stupid thing. I didn't like it. You know what I mean? Ijust, I don't know why. I just didn't like it at first, but you know, he'sthe boss. So that that's what I was gonna be trash is so, You know, again,it was 2004. It's not like you can go on logos dotcom and have like a dope logo made within a day or something like that, sowe didn't, you know what I mean? We, he ended up like we had this corny logo tostart like it was like there was no trash, it was like literally justspelled out trash is it was a horrible logo and it just made me hate the nameeven more. So before we go to a press conference to announce the team onApril Fool's day of 04, you know, we're getting ready to go, we're in my dad'soffice on White Street, we're going to head to the rank and uh you know, I'mjust thinking to myself, man, I hate this logo, I hate the name is bad, youknow, I was just like this is gonna be horrible All of a sudden someone bringsin a piece of paper or two pieces of paper. one was a letter and one was likedrawing. So the letter, this guy, his name is Dominic Alessandro. He lives inDanbury but he owns a believe it's a marketing firm in thecity. This guy I heard about you know...

...us doing the team and on his way to thecity on the train from Danbury, he sketched out the scrappy logo, like thelogo, you see now he sketched that out on the train and he wrote us a letter.Like I'd love to work with you guys, I'd like to present this as a logo. Hadwe left 15 minutes earlier and we never saw that facts or something went wrong. We would have never had this iconic logo at this point. We would have hadthis horrible, but when I saw this logo, this like sketch of the trash can, Iwas like, oh, this is it man. I was like this. Now, I like the name, thisis this is um, Now I now I see it, you know? But it's crazy because I'mtelling you if we would have went to that if we would have left like 10minutes earlier and never got that facts and we unveiled the logo. I knowmy dad, we would have never went back and changed it then. You know what Imean? So you talk about by the skin of our ass. I mean thankfully that guy gotus at facts. I mean back when people facts things, you know, I mean, it's uhcrazy. But he, he saved us because if we would have went out with that logo,it would have been, it just, it was, it wasn't good. Yeah. Yeah. That's crazy.I actually, I actually was randomly strolling through tick tock and I sawthe guy, I don't know what his name was, but I saw the guy that created it. Yes.Yeah. He, I mean he did, he did an amazing job and I believe I believehe's created all the logos for all the hockey teams after, you know, after us,You know? Um I know, I'm pretty sure he did the hat tricks one, the currentteam, but I mean he and his, he and his team do a tremendous job. Yeah, forsure. And then just going into boxing. Uh, I think you might know him in theboxing world too. So I've been following you. Um and um, so was it acombination of the hockey plus the wrestling and then that's how you gotinto the boxing. Yeah, Dude, honestly, the same thing with the same thing, like it was with the trash I got into boxing like total fluke. I mean, literally it was, I mean, it's like a two hour long story how it happened, but it just happened. Next thing I knew...

I woke up, I was in the boxing industry.I mean, I wasn't a boxing fan growing up. I mean, the only thing I know aboutboxing was like mike Tyson like everyone else in the world, but Ididn't know anything, nothing. Like I don't, I couldn't even, I couldn't eventell you people, you know what I mean? So, you know, I just, I took a leap offaith, man, You know, I was just like, you know what, when we lost the team, Ifelt such a void. You know, I just something was missing and I don't know,it was something about getting involved with boxing. First of all, boxing socrazy that someone like me shouldn't have been able to get into boxing, youknow what I'm trying to say, like boxing so insane that they let anyonein the sport you pay your license fee and you're in. So I was like, the factthat I can just get into professional boxing on like a day's notice basicallyis insane, but I'm like, well maybe we have something here and you know, Ijust started I have a very obsessive personality, so when I start gettinginto something, I get into it. So, you know, it's kind of like I'm gonna helpthis fighter out for a few fights and then just whatever just into now, youknow, I want to work with this fighter and I want to work with that fighternow. It's like, I want to throw my own show now, let's let's open a gym inDenver, So I've been in boxing now 10.5 years, I mean, I don't know how I stillhave any sort of hair, but it's just a crazy, crazy world, but you know what, you got to be, you got to be a little off to be in it. So, I mean, I mean, Ithink a lot of stuff with the trash is actually prepared me in a certain wayfor certain things in this industry. Yeah, for sure. I mean, yeah, you'rejust being thrown in at 17, like you probably learned way more stuff thanwhat you were going to learn at college or anything else and then I know, youknow, I tell people, I tell the kids that at the gym all the time I dealwith so many young kids. I said, listen, I said, if you have the opportunity togo to college, if it's something that you like, I said, look, if you want to be a doctor, be a lawyer, I mean obviously got to go tocollege. I mean I tell kids there's no...

...getting around it, you know? So I tellkids if you're in a position where you can go to college and you're not goingto be in debt for 100 years after, you know what I'm saying? You got toexplore your options. I said, but I tell these kids all the time, I'm like, look, go to a trade school, learn a trade. I said, um, the best experienceshands on. And I tell people like Whether people want to say I was, I wasspoiled, I was given this opportunity, this standard, 3rd look at the end ofthe day, I took an opportunity and you got to run with it and that's how youlearn, you learn, you get thrown in the deep end and it's sink or swim, that'sall there is to it. I mean it doesn't matter how much money you have, itdoesn't matter if look when you're in the deep end, if you can't paddle, ifyou can't doggy paddle or something, you're, you're, you're out of there, man. Yeah, yeah, for sure. And I know you got Mike marshall fighting on theTyson Fury wilder card, uh, how did that come about in? Like, how excitedare you for that? I'm so happy for him. Mike. I knew Mike, I was managing a kidout of Brooklyn frank Galarza back in 2013 for like, God, we were togetherlike almost 10 fights and uh, you know, frank used to train out of start cityboxing in Brooklyn and I would go there all the time to watch them train, youknow, see the guys and Mike used to be in there as an amateur, like £180soaking wet and he was in the golden, I remember he was in the new york goldengloves. Um, you know, you walked in that gym, you knew Mike was there, youknow what I mean? And not gym in Brooklyn, I mean, you, you to getnoticed, you have to, you know, you gotta put yourself out there. So Ialways saw Mike and he was living out there obviously and always cool to me,always, you know, I really liked him and then, you know, that was kind of it,you know what I mean? So next thing I knew like flashback, like 4.5, 5 yearsago, I'm in the office at my gym and mike marshall walks in, I'm like, whatthe hell are you doing here? He's like, I met, you know, I have a girl downhere now, I moved to, do you know, I moved to Denver, I'm like, you moved toDenver? I was like, that's super random. So uh he started training, you know, hestarted training here, um he took a...

...fight on a very short notice he lost, Ithink it was back in 2016 or something, bad loss, bad knockout, But I gottatell you something, man. I mean, if that was, if that was most fighters, they probably would never lace up gloves again the way he lost, it was atough fight and he took a four year hiatus, but he was still in the gym, hewas still trying, he's still working. And We got an opportunity, lastNovember, um last November of 2020, we got an opportunity to fight up in NewHampshire uh big promoter, chris try it up there and uh he won the fight, hefour years off, he wins the new England heavyweight title, it's insane. Theybrought him in because I know they thought he was on the couch, so theywere like, just bring him, you know, and he's not a natural heavyweight. Sothen I'm like, hey mike, you know, you know, he just didn't want to keep going, you know, fought again, one fought again one again, now we're sitting here,I mean we're gonna be on one of the biggest cards of of the year in octoberin Vegas. I'm very tough fight but he's a lot laser locked in. I mean this islike this is a super bowl for him so he'll be ready. You know he's gonna godown swinging and I think we're gonna have a I think we're gonna have a goodnight the way he's looking right now and um our opponents tough but mikemike mike mike give this guy some problems. I really believe that. That'swhy we we agreed to do it and hopefully we can put on a show. Yeah, definitely. All right. A j. Well I appreciate you coming on.
