So up, everybody, I'm back for another episodes of the average savage podcast or special guests. Today is two time world champion Cornelius Canine, Bundridge Canine. How's it going? What's up? How you doing? Good? Appreciate you coming on a day. So let's go back in time. How did you first get involved in boxing? You know, all my life. So, you know, coming from the hood was easy, but I got that for Tony. Actually, you know, become a boxer, will star boxing, jump to the you know, a jump to it. A young man had heard you know, I was pretty good with them hands. So he pulled up all me and he said, Oh, I heard you was good with them hands man. You know, I heard you can fight a little bit. He said, well, you think it can fight? Do you think it can be you know me right now? I said many, right. So he was like man say, he said, okay, all right, we'll come pick you up Ta Hill see what you bought. So he took me to the Jeff and you know, I was taking care business, you know, putting boys away. But I I realize that man boxing with my hardner, I thought, but all my I'm getting there, you know. And style boxing had ten average prikes turn pro. And what year did the guy find you? He actually put up on the Bel in one thousand nine hundred and ninety one. Okay, yeah, and I tell one now. Before that, to be honest with you, before that when I was eleven years old, because I stay down the street from a famous chrunch him. So the crug game is actually in my neighborhood. I went down there and when and when it hit the puncher bag, you know. But I want to spa and the coach at the time, you know, he may ask the pieces names, Mr Logan, he wouldn't put me in the ring. So as a kid coming from that neighborhood and grows real rough. I want to get there, Pike, I want to spar somebody, you know, I want the box and he didn't put me in there. So I left the gym and, you know, left the boxing part and when that comes there to play basketball and then we're down there, downstairs again, until you know that young man can put up a god, you got you. Actually. That's my next question. Did you do play any other sports grown up? Oh, yeah, yeah, I was pretty athletic. I can play basketball, you know. I did real good, you know, for as basketball player on a foot teams when I was a high school. I remember. I remember the coach telling me, you know, don't get kicked out because he saw has skills on the basketball court and I got kicked off the next day. It was meant to me to be a friend of mass. All I did was fight, fight, fight, yeah, so sure, pretty good, pretty good at it. Well, you mentioned before you made your pro debut one thousand nine hundred and ninety five. So what was that first pro fight like? Man, you know what it was. It was very exciting. It was. Yeah, it's too exciting because the guy who up for was actually a fighter that avoided me in the amateurs. So he turned pro thinking that, you know, if I go pro, I did have more experience than I called Knin now, because now I had an ups on them. And he remember he has as the Mike Tyson type of style that I had when I was fighting the averagers. But I'll started watching Ray Jones. So I kind of switched it up on them. So he did. He didn't even know that, you know, I had changed my style. So he called me out, I said, to the challenge and my manager, tie was like man, you show you want to fight this guy. And it was like man, because you know he was. He was all managed by Jackie calling. You know she had managed James Toning. So they was like man, you know you should...

...want to fight this down right man. Yes, I want to fight him bad because he doesn't me anyway in the amateurs. But the same time I know he thought I was still fighting like White Tyson, SAT news, I'll be easy fight. So when I went in there and for them I had a whole different style, he had no idea what to do. beat him the whole fight. I beat him so bad that he stopped about after that. Yeah, and he was hit. Three fights under his belt too. Absolutely, absolutely, he was two and one. Yep, people, was two and one. Only fight he lost because he fought against the got that had way one fights to him. So he was like, Oh yeah, bring on. K Now, he really wanted me. He want to be bad because, you know, and I was at when I lose averagers, he couldn't see me at all. He knew he was like a he like a miniature men Mike Tyson. But I was like Tyson, for Real, for real. Yeah, I was like the guys. I would average just like in ten seconds. I mean I was real fierous. I mean you know the way that I look, the way my body is structured, structure that's high for you know, when I turned pro I realize I couldn't fight like that. It's been too eat for a lot of fighters. If by the force bike Tyson, because I was already short and then going in, took punches. You know, that would have been a good look. So I saw star box not. So let me change up and give him somebody own aspect. Yeah, yeah, you, you started out twenty one and know, you went on a tear. You got a crazy amount of knockouts and then, and then you had the power fight. You saw your first loss and then. So what was that like and how did that like motivate you even more? Oh Man, I was. Let me tell you something. That was that was a blessing disguise, to be honest with you, because I had never lost the real fight before my life, even as an amateur. You know, the fight that they gave the other guy. How I really losing fight. It was just, you know, they give it to early, want to give it to you know what a boxes dirty. So Gorder to that fight, twenty one and old. You know something. Think I had what thirteen knockouts in my bill, knock and guys out left and right. So, man, I was just like now I'm a destroy this guy, I'm a crush them. So, you know, me wanted to fight. It was a humble when it came to boxing. I mean far as like you know, I was little arrogant because I knew in my mind could nobody beat me. You know, when I first like, like we first did it everyone, I told you when he pulled up on me, but billy pulled up on about. said, but I could beat Mike Tyson. So what I wanted take that fight. You know I'm saying, and I got stopped in the first round. Man, I was embarrassed. I mean, and one reason why I did a lot of people don't know. But the reason why I ran out there try to Knock Hill I was the first round. It is because I was probised tenzero four first round knock out. So my promoter said, hey, king nine, I got tenzero for you. You know I'm saying. I was getting tenzero for the fight and on top of that, ever will get a tenzero balls for first round knock out. I was like, how about to get that tear and cost me. But for coursing on courte the fight. I lost my first one and then after that you run on the contender series. But take me back, like how did what was the casting process lay or who, like who reach out to you for the contender series? Okay, okay, yeah, let me tell you too before we get into that. And I didn't get them back, though. I dig in it back. Oh sweet was it? It got held back in you know, it was decision and I was a Champi at where at the time to so oh, yeah, yeah, we'll get we'll get you that. We'll get that. I just had to say that. Yeah, yeah, just the case you forget. Remember, remember Raich Joe Say y'all buses forget. So be also beat on the contender. It was actually real fun, man, you know, now that I look at it, was fun, like we're they can to Detroit, they can't see t they kennedy trait looking for all you know, people to be on the show. Actually a season one, and you know, I was like, Madam, I just did it. I was like, I want to build a reality show because they going to take boxing on my career serious. They just trying to make this into like a movie, you know, because you know the host. You know the host of the show or the produced executive producers, so investors alone. So I was like, man, I am about to do this right here, because they actually picked me for see one one. I actually turned it down, so I would have been on season one. But when I when I suffered my first loss with that...

...fight as I had against pole man, I reach back out to them on a second season and I didn't realize it was going to be that good. So I saw season when I was like, wow, I blew a big opportunity. This was better than I thought. It was going to be. Really help my career big time, but once I lost my first fight, I had no choice but to go and try to be on the show, because even who my promote at the time, you know, he start acting different when I lost my first fight. I made people change. Only man, when you at the top, boy, you got somebody friends. When you know you Gor bottom, man, nobody would help you. That let you drown, for sure. For sure. And what was your overall experience like on the contender? I know you're the fan favorite. Yes, yes, you know, I was a fervorite. I went out there and I said, you know what, I want to put it all the guy's hands because, you know, I didn't know what to expect. You know, I had lost my first fight and it was my first time with losing my first fight, so I didn't know what to expect. I was like now I was gonna put in guys sayings, man, and I'm just gonna go out there and give him my best. I would make sure I keep God first us, for come, always talk about God on this show. I wanted to sell myself or want of people to remember me no matter what. So I want my search. I could understand why the other fighters they wouldn't promote their self. I mean they told us that. Okay, since it is a reality show, that the Tyreelli shows was the biggest thing around. So you know. So I was like this is a chance to beat a bit of, you know, sell myself these guys. You know, they wouldn't wear nothing had a name on it. I mean, we couldn't wear Nike Ord this. So they makes tripped this from all that. We could wear none of that to promote nobody else. So they want to get sued. But I was like, man, I'm wearing my kine shirt. So with my kine shirts and what. It's just my boxing day was kate nine. When the cameras on me, I was I was barking and I was winning. I was like man, you know, I sold myself. So I was it was a trip to go over the United Kingdom and come to the tunnel and they start broking. Okay, nine. I couldn't believe it. That I feel like I feel like I was Michael Jackson somebody. You're ahead of your time with the marketing. Yes, I was way ahead of time. Yes, yes, so, yeah, I got, you know, I got a book about the drop them. Eventually may I'M gonna drop this book. Don't break, you can't bite kate nine. So yeah, I was definitely ahead of my time and I just thank God because, you know, they gave me another opportunity and you know, like I said, that power loss. Man, I didn't know where I was gonna go. People treat me different, and then I went back and we got on a contented man and revived my career. I became a fan favorite. II beat Bravos so bad that when I saw floyd, maybe what the he told me. Said, K nine. He said, man, I seen a power. He said what you did to Bravo, Burno has your left U was because Bordo had fart about that far them to Burdo beat them to. Well, floyd was telling me like, man, you destroy Bravo bad you know, Berno had two left out. was He ain't do does? He was just, you know, giving me death and I feel respect and it was it was all love. And what about? What was it? What was it like? Just like cameras following around all the time? Was a weird at first? Yes, it was. It was U it was annoying at first. Ivy, I can't even go to the Bar Room when the camera coming towards me, I'm like that, look at them like man, broke, I use the ball room, but this. But then eventually, you know, I got used to it. I was like, you know what, they just doing a job. You Know Me. So, you know, I just, you know, it was just like, you know, being in the house and what the walls, you know, made. It was that they gonna be what they going to be. They gonna beat on a wall and saying if you walk past this, just you know, it's just natural. So the cameras got natural to tell me. I just, you know, they you know, it just became or just a part of you know, just being in the house. Wasn't Nuhingbo that that, but it began it. Oh yeah, I was like, man, I was trying to watch, I was being careful what I say and everything, but eventually I just didn't know, decide, just started to be myself. I just became myself and just flow. That's all. Yeah, I got to I got to fan questions from the tender series. You Ready? Yeah, yeah, definitely are. One of the one of them is are you still friends with Andre Easton? Yeah, absolutely, I'm still I'm still friends Andre...

East and I rest all too. When I was in New York, maybe you're what, three weeks, maybe a month ago, I reached out to him Austral you know, see could he come link up with me? All my still text of them. Still called them, we still talk, not just men under Easter, but me and N Roy and Grady and Fred I still being couch like what Steve Falls and WOOLA YEA and in. The other question is, do you think you beat Steve Forbes? Man, listen, you know, if you go look at my records, so my my record is what thirty six and six, but I read truly to me I only truly lost three fights and I know not know six fights. I feel like I beat Steve Forbes. I feel like I'd be each say Smith, and I feel like I'd beat gratty brewer, you know. So I mean it is what it is, you know, once you get one of lost that record is easy to give you another one and then they give you another one. They say take that, take that like the biggy song. Still, yeah, I definite feel like I beat them, you know, but I don't want to sound bitter and you know like I'm not bitter. And now that you know, it is what it is. You know, if they gave it to me, they the pee party for he lost. So you know, it is what it is. Say, you know, saying with these say Smith and all of my I still reached out to say and we still talking. Kid Get, you know me. So you know, it is what it is. You know, it's a squatter by I said, you went. Sorry, lose some but I do feel like I want those fights for sure, for sure. All right. Now fast for and into two thousand and ten. You had your big title shot versus are no, yeah, you're richly tough shot versus cory spinks. Yes. So what was that like? What was that like just getting the opportunity you finally fight for the world title? Well, you know, Um, you know, it was a lot of people. Not a lot of people. They think that. You know, I got in that position because of the contender. No, the contender really just gave me a lot of experience. It gave me a chance to share my story and it reached billions of people, you know, and it helped spuit a boxing. But, but, but, I actually fought my way to to the Corey space fight. I had poured against the guy and a three weeks noticed. The three weeek notice, if for the own the CLIFFIC under the cart in Germany. So they flew me in the fight against this guy names are bag basketball. For Give me if I'm pronouncing his name wrong, but it's there be eight basket Gore, but he's a Russian. Yeah, nineteen up was fifty knockout. So I went over there, man and knocked him out and I became number two mandatory for the Corey speas fight. So that's how I actually got the fight betwek, you know, against Corey spinks, and I'll excuse me, and I'm going into that fight against Corey spins. Man, coury speaks, you know. I think he was, you know, out of state, because the fight got canceled, like my man, at least three times. So I was getting ready for Corey spins like three times. And if I get counsel, I will go train hard. If I do get cancel, I guess I'll train harder. If I get cants, I train or harder than that. And I started realizing, like man, you can't train no harder and been hard as you can train. So we'll treat me out. Is that fighters returning on some man, I've been a bit shy my life. Okay, then they be like man, for the next fight I'm in a bitch ship of my life and the next thing. For that I'm going a bit shy my life. You want to get being a bit ship, being life for that say, you don't get no better than the best ship of your life. So I realized that as far as I could go with what's The sky? After you get at you reach the guy. You can't go no further than that. So I start working on my skills. That the steady trying to get it better and better shape, because I felt like, when I far corey speaks, to actually over train. If you go watch the fight, you will see I went out there just start going bombs and try to knock come out and around one because my legs was gone. I just felt different, you know, I just I really knew it over trained. So I saill, let me just go ahead and try to go get them. Yeah, was that the was that the card? I mean, was that the fight where he came out with like million stuff? Yeah, you know what, I don't know if it was really, but I know he came out. I know you came out that dancing. He came out that. It...

...was about. But was it? Remember help coming out that dance? And I know it came out with Bailey one time before. I think that was a a Judah fighting by. They came by women. I can't remember. I just was I just turn my head. Was that? was that more motivation, like? Because was that? Is that more motivation when like a guy comes out like crazy like that? Absolutely, I feel like you disrespect speck and expecting the sport. What I see fighters come out there, dance like they are want to fight, and they lose or they get dropped or knocked out, I'll be laughing like I don't know what, because you know he gonna be disrespected. Your polly, you ain't one yet. You celebrate and do whatever you want to do after the fight. Yeah, but before the fight you can't scaritys that you want to fight. You know what. You dance as the bed basically guarantee that one say I'm that guy. Yeah, the chap out of did it, bro it ain't over me. The Bat lady say for sure, for sure. So so what was that feeling like? When in the world titled, you got the Tko, the fifth round. Man, I remember hitting Corey speaks at all. He would go nowhere. And now I was talking to God in my head. I was like God, I know I was supposed to be here, like when is it going to happen? And I just heard in my mother hers. I heard keep working and I finally knocked him out. I said bad, I thinkive God to worry. Man. I dropped to my days and said thank you guy, thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit. I was happy as I know what. I was happy that I was real happy, very happy, and then that that change your life. Yeah, yeah, you know what actually changed my life? They change your life, because what thing about it? When you become world champion, even if you lose it tightly, they can never take that way, you know, for champion, always a champion. So we changed my life forever. I was a world champion. I became the champ of the world, I mean, but you know, I wasn't. I wasn't the same came out I used to be. So I didn't get the chance to really just like feel myself, you know, the old K and I would have been in the hood, would have been going crazy with it, just been doing all kind of stuff. You know, I had settled down, man, I had got married, you know, after they contender, I got married to my wife. So I spoke tremendously down. So I was really humble, guys. So I really, I really could never be known realize that I was a chap in the world. So I lost my title des and I realized, Wow, I was a chapter of the world. I was actually chap. I always say Ma'am in the champ, but I couldn't really feel it, I couldn't really see it because I just was too humble. Yeah, got you all right. So I know you want to you want to go back on this one. So you got the rematch first, Powell, and you got your revenge. So what was that? Way? Absolutely, yeah, yeah, man, it was a trip because, like I said, and that fight, I was promised Tenzero, you know, for first round knockout. Yeah, I mean, you know. So I ran out there trying to get him fontaneously because I was trying to get that tenzero dollars, that extra bonus. Now you know. Now I think about the whole fight, I think with the skills he had, you know, maybe he still could have probably pulled off for a decision, but he would have stopped me in the first round. But you know, from there on, not one thing about me. Man, I learned from my mistakes quick especially a bottle. So from now or noth I became a softball killer. I started spurring on Andy Lee a whole lot. I just started practicing on how did this doe the software? So probably, when all, he got a position. You know, we fought. I know, I know the Bible says. You know, revenge is guy. So when I became word champion, I wouldn't and I want to fight to coop all. But he beat me. Know if he ever got in a position, I said to myself, if you ever get in a position to fight me, if we ever fight, I'm going to destroy him. And finally he won. I think he far to get some corey space and be coury space or be for somebody. Anyway, he became a number one contender and mandatory for my title, and I was happy as I don't know what I was, man, I was trying hard as I don't know what. I was ready. He actually was so pumped up that he got out there, you know what, two days before the fight, because you know, you gotta fly in to to the venue or to the place to fight, where you gonna fight. That until you know the the last...

...few days or whatever. But he way, he got there before I did. I had a choice to come out there, you know, earlier than the week, or to continue to train and covering the area through days going to fight. So he got there early and he was all on his social media. Man, I hope can ain't scary. He Ain't here. I hope be here. I hearpe. I hope to show up. I don't know way yet. I'm like, I'm I'm looking at these comments like man, this guy crazy. So I finally, you know, I finally get there because I'm getting all the train I camera far get that, because once you go out of town you do it all kind of media. You Ain't doing as much training. So I'm trying to get all my training in before you know I'm actually there and I can't really train like that. So when I finally get there, we get on the scale, I'm like, boy, you know said it. I'll told him. Any Dye told you what time it was, because any top like man came now. Ain't the saying came now. You for a bro He different. He's a Oh no, you just say when I said man, you gonna see what you don't get that work. You thought I was scared. I fight you, Bro. I'm much after the work or Bro. I just was giving a bit to him like, man, you gonna get racked, I'm gonna put you, I'm gonna put you on ice. He all no, no, you all so man. I beat him so bad. Man, he was kicking a bucket in the rain, you know, saying that it was crazy. I'll beat around by round around with you. Did Miss Sision? Yeah, I got it, I got it. W I'm trying. I got a good, super good. He was mad, but you know, it was just gract got the other day. You know, I'm respecting to this day. You know, we won and one, but I beat him when I really count it, you know. Yeah, and that's me being a Champe of the world. So you know what it is. And definitely, and I was going to say this question for later, but was out, your favorite fight when you say man, you know what, man, that revenge me just that everything is was. What's the fun? There is? It's really hard to say which was my favorite fight, because it just sold me of my mean, you gotta think about it. I was on them, the biggest boxing reality show of all time, one of the I would say probably the second biggest reality show of all time. I had thought my reality shows up today. I'm talking about when reality shows that just came out. No talking about behind America idol. So being on the continer fight, no fights on the continer was all of was super big. When I want my first fight after that loss I had with power on the continuer that I was big when I beat Michael Clark. People are so excited and happy for me. I was in my space key. So that right there was a huge what I'm wanted to stable center in front of fourteen thousand sold out, just like KS I, and they just soldis of people. Will saw the fight. Same situation. I sold out the the staple center, you know, and I destroy Brab will you know? My sister had got killed, man, so I did it for her. That was a huge fight for me and huge win for me. You know, being dumb Bravo and becoming a fan favorite and just launching off and you don't continue to have a career because a lot of lost that fight. Men, you never know what the contender would have dod you know, you know a lot of free got a lot of friends. When you are the time, like I say it, then if you loose, you at the bottom. It's sold with. So that was a big fight. When I fought over in Germany and I beat the guy for a number two spot and had a rights to fight, you know, Corey space for a world title, that was huge. So, I mean, you know, I have some huge wins's a very, very huge wins, believe that's how and becoming the oldest. That is time. But it's whole, it's country, it being an old germanweight world champion of all time. Today, to this day, squad will say that is huge. So I mean, you know, we got I gotta threw up, man, I got a few of but but I definitely, definitely would say that the fight will piled is definitely up there. It's in the top. It's at the top. What seven, time seven, I would say, definitely definitely. And then, yeah, actually, what was that like fighting in Mexico? That was your I think that's your first only time. Yeah, absolutely all. It was bad. I was ready for that fight. Ball people. I mean, if anybody better on me, they made a gang of money because I know I was under dog and people thought, because I was in my s of m you know, it was over for me. But they don't know, man. You know my back is up against the wall...

...and I'm gonna come on swinging. For Real. I was a real good shape for their fight. I'm talking about Tumidy shape, you know. Shout out to all, shout to Jay and third, you know, for help. Be Get ready for the fight. But the man I was, I was not going to come back home without that title. And if you know that, you'll you got to do is see when I'm overseas every time I want and I want and spectacular in a fashion. I mean I went out that man and and did to Carols Blena with Laura could do with. No other fighter could do. You know, I made and they try to day say actually cheated, but they try to drown you over with it, man, because you know, when you fight in the Rainas nor didn't read it, they might be a little warm here and there, but don't they might have a little acl it's just cool's kind of regular. Put a put the people that's there, you know, because it's all about the fans. Then you know that over in the Raina they had that mother blazing hot. I know it's hot, I know it's how the cat cool be'st go anyway, but they had it inside. The building was hot. I'm talking about it felt like it was like ninety degrees in their man, I could believe it. Man, the referee. You got to look at this shirt. Go Youtube that fight. Carols Blena versus came out about just being a referee. Shirt was soaked. I mean they they try to cheat. They felt like okay, cause it carols Bileina had to stop what he would go for and I was at my s and you know, they they feel like it would you know, he would have too much fubby and he had been with me out, but they didn't know that guy do what they were trying to do. So at home I was trained in the heat. You know, I don't know why I didn't say that to jake about, you know, turn the heat down. He turned the heat up and I never did complain and now I know it was all the guy's plan. So I trade is in the gym with the heat up to like one twin h that's crazy. Yeah, wow, they trying to ban so it was missed me to win. That's dad. That fight, man, it was meant because if I would have been trending to heat at the house, you know, and Detroit and the world's best man, I would out lost that fight just because it a bit too hot. Out of Bitch, out of get, out of good wall. He's a bit pretty pressonal men and he mad. But I was ready. I would twelve rounds. That was that was the hardest fight for us, like condition wise, as far as how to push myself and any fight of that man. Now, what was it? What was different? Winning your first world title in your Second World Time? Well, my second world title, my back was up against the wall. I mean, you know, you don't win, this fight is over. Over. You know, my first world title, that was all. You know. I it was a blessed disguise. I had heard that, you know, man. You know it was a blessing. Both phone was a blessing. I think that the second one, or the second one I start getting money first. That's what I would die king. And you know, I became a world champion. I bought the belt back to the city trade. It was a drought and we hadn't had a world champion in thirty years, so super big that we had an actual world champion in the cities Detroit, you know, at the thirty years. You know I mean, since I word the Great Tommy hearns, it was big. So it's big. Both of them was big. I mean I would trade either one of them, but the second one, you know, like I said, I got paid more. I'm still in the history books right now is being an oldest gym midweight World Champian of all time. I mean even when they showed the fight, only they show US highlights on ESPN talking about fighters who were world champions at forty plus. They actually show all many pack y'all, George from Bernard hot, because they even showed your boy came now. So both of them was big, but I don't know, I don't know which one was bigger. Yeah, I mean it I can easy to say the second was bigger because that was the last one I got. You know, maybe I made more money, but you know what, all the first one, you know me, I wouldn't have any same experience to be in a world champion. Know what it. You know takes to become one. So you know, they both was super big. Man Diver. Sure, and I know you haven't fought in two thousand and seventeen. So are you still trying to fight? Are you retired? Yes, to be honest with you, I am still trying to...

...fight. I mean I'm a I'm gonna see what happens in two thousand and twenty and if I can't get nothing, I'm just going to just call it a day. But I've been trying to fight man Um, you've spossibly be man with that Nice outfit. I want to with that so bad, but it's just I was about to fight against this guy. Well, on this car was guy named Ryan over New Orleans. I was gonna be the main event and then like a week or two weeks before the fight, they called me and told me that, you know, the fight, my fight car was canceled. And then know that, you know if I was going to be able to fight. You know men, because they was making up all these excuses, all where he's a little too old and but but at first, you know, you went to the you went to commission. They was saying, Oh, yeah, came out from a continuing all. Yeah, I think it was a money crab. I think that I got my name got you with sponsorship at once. He put the money his pocket, you know, he he came with his cutes out there. You know that I was too old or then, and so it was some bull junk in the game, man. But I'm definitely still trying to fight. I'm in the shape. I manage him, still training fighters, bringing my son. I will training a guy named Dean. You know, I'm training a few young ladies and I'm still training myself. So I still got a few more win me. And I add forty six years old. Man, you be surprised. Well, I'm boo. Doesn't like no forty six year older all cut up like what up? Trust me. Yeah, no, I know you're always in shape. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so it's so could come my way, man, is right. Man, I'll take it, I mean, but obviously I don't want no fight against somebody fifty, you know, will fitty knock out stocks that? Yeah, the money is why I'm gonna do it. I got to do it. I'm still give my best. I never fight just for the money. Yeah, me, I'm always trying to win. But Um, so, do you really just want like one more fight? How you really just want like one more fight? No, no, no, I really I really want more than one more fire. Really want to get to the forty forty wins. I want to get to forty wins. You know, thirty six and six you got. I want these four more fights. I could be forty, forty and sixth of my record of something like that. And when you say if I have forty fights here to say yeah, K, I record. It's forty and six and one. Sail saying forty, forty and six and one. Don't sound like I got forty wins, six bosses and one one. No contest. If you say came as record, he has a record of forty six and one, slay six and one versus forty six and one. You really yeah, so I definitely want to I definitely want to fight again, man, I really do. I mean ceous events. I still gotta know these guys. These guys ain't about nothing out here, man. You know, I may take my head off a lot of these fighters that are champions and pell putting. You know, they lie. They lives online, you know at the squarter boxer, but a lot of these guys are really playing box and many trying to see who they can fight. They picking a fight state. It's just it ain't like it was like when I was coming up. I think, you know, only was at the top of real hundred, but a lot of fighters, like in my city, man, they you know, they want a cameras, Cimon the energy. You know, days like this, where and you trade. Right now it's snowing a ground and everybody in the gym like that only time they go be the gymerally got a fight over, though, useful the train when you just gotta fight come up. If you try to be a champion, you gotta train all the time, and that's one thing that I always did. I trained all the time when I was of that years of ice, two thousand push ups to day com eleven years old, the fourteen, and I then know I was going to become a box for none of that, but I just wanted to have muscles. I want to be diesel. No, being, you know, work at hard was always in my blood. Yeah, for sure. And I think the whole social media thing, I mean I think it's changed people in general, but like the boxing world to just like, you know, the hype and stuff like that, just with you know, like you were saying, like calling picking guys out and stuff like that. Exactly exactly. You know, come on, mad just think about it. I take my het oft to the do the Youtubers, but CAS I, they was conveying event back that was a first profile. But it's good for you know what is? It is good for a boxer. I know I got no problem with it because think about it, I reality showed that. I was all it...

...was good for a boxing people's like that, a real box this the reality show. But guess what it brought, being as the fans, to the square boxer. Same thing with them youtubers. That brought me, as a fans to the square boxing. The people that's fighting got that's complaining. Then I could watch that with they fighters, but they get paid. That's what you making money just off them guys coming to the square box and somebody going to become a fan of yours want to pay to see you fight because the KS I and Logan. So you know, you think about the long term and the big picture. Think about this kind of ric Gregor when he for he got a lot of, you see, fighters that decided to want to be boxers. So brought what I need to the fire, the square a boxer, but he fought. By me whether you can't be mad at that man. He put his life on a line. If you had a chance to make a hundred million, you wouldn't want nobody hate on you. Hey, I go the next man. Yeah, definitely down now. Was it now? Not? Now we know it. Would you say that? It kind of McGregor is a great fighter, or casside great Frit know, but you think we just say that? Did you know? There dead big a Kipee at the top level? Know what I was saying there was like, you know, if a person want to fight, let them fight. If you want to fight, I'm gonna let you fight. Whoever want to fight, let them fight. Can you tell a person what they can and can't do? Yeah, definitely. What do you think? You Watch the CASS I Logan Pall fight? Yeah, idea. I watch some of it. I watch some of it because, you know, I was back on foot watching all the ESPN fight because, you know, my homeboy had for Rightdale Booker here for I guess, the guy think his name was cover up or pull up. Yeah, he's war against him. Yeah, so I was. I was going back and forth. So what do you did? What do you think about the whole like experience of like them? They I think they sold out the stables on the absolutely that was being for boxing because, like I say, man, you you know, boxer has lost a lot of fans because of because the basketball. You know, people want to be a little kid now that you still on a basketball court. They want to go to the NBA. Used to be a time that boxing was the biggest sport in the world. And excuse me, that change. That change. You know, when our car grand daddy is died, you know I mean, and they say supported boxing. It was all about boxing. They might want to be a boxer, but nowadays people want to be a UFC fighter or they want to be a basketball there and even maybe it bigsball player. You even gotta you know, black people that want to hit, they want to play golf. Now look at Tiger Woods, you tay. So the game changed. So so when you got somebody that that it's a crosses over, that's the star or that gap people that's following them and want to be a box or do some boxing, that you got to take your hat off to that, because we need all the support we can and no box as one spot you gotta have an education. So people that that, you know, that didn't graduate, and then they should take their head off because you know, something like this, a freshly, people that sent from the hood, from the hood, should be watching boxes, supporting box all the time, because one thing a lot of people from the hood with no education, I ain't got a daddy, could do is fight. Yeah, and that's what way you can make you some money. So this is wise and they should be happy for some like that, but they don't know no better. Yeah, they don't like yeah, sure, you don't know, butter and then yeah, and it tell me about I know you have your youtube channel and you have a podcast to or something about that. Oh Yeah, well, you know my podcast, you know, put all the things that's listening in support PG sports, for my podcast is kme out boxing on Youtube, and it's doing real good man. I've been on putting videos out here left and right. It's been begging all identity video with the all with the well to waste, and it's like I got a hunter city two thousand views, so that's training pretty good. So yeah, you know, all of listeners and the fans of boxing, you know, subscribe the kme now, boxer, hit a bill, you know, leave a kind man and shit a video. And My podcast is, you know, this is tonight, tonight, you know, saying. We know at not a clock. Fans want to listen. Then, you know, all you do listening to remember eight...

...pos or six, seven, seven hundred and eighty, seven hundred and eight positive, six thousand and fifteen o six. Once again, seven away, five hundred and six, fifteen o six, and it's called the dog pown. Of course we came now boxing. Yeah, all my social media is kme, boxer, twitter, facebook, instagram, and you know, I'm always interact with my people's man. I keep it real, because it real is me, for sure. Who Do you you ever want to do like commentary? Yes, yes, all I have did commentary before. I did commentary on Fox once before. My guy named Carlos Elinus all. He hired me just come do something because he threw a box and show where he wanted to meet. He had TV and boss. They wanted me to come and do some conversations. So I think we gotta get you back on. Oh yeah, I mean, I just I'm not several. Nobody set another on a toes and of that man but I like life. These guys are when it kind of commentate you, because I'm just different. I'm a pretty something that you know. That's going to be genuine. It's going to be unique, it's could be specially, it's going to be sweet, it's going to have a little flavor to it, little hood to it, it's could be so anything, little Joe King there, but it's going to be all real, for sure. You K yeah, man, trust me now, I actually all my young man has at one of my videos and he actually said, you want me to come and conversate one his shows, and shows fully doing February and then all flight some of my video they would make some youtube videos for them. So I've been getting people in reaching out to me when it comes to that. But yeah, you know, at the time this is who you know. Yeah, this is excuse me, like if I was still sign with all what, all, what, if I was fine with a PBC, I would definitely doing conversation, you know, but I think, you know, if the people at the top man, they could be mad man at you. You know, are you turned down fights? You know, I'm saying it. You don't do what people want you to do. Men I don't be doing what what people want me to do, you know. So I was I was still be at the top and still be doing good man, but I did things my way and that's what you got. The only person won't eat you good as you but yeah, you can make something happen. You know, keep me in mind, because I know you've got them no kind of connections to come and bring some down real quick if for sure. And I'M A and one last question and then I got some fun questions. So what advice would you get? What advice would you give to upandcoming boxer? One advice, I will give it to them. Become a boxer is, you know, keep learning. Keep learning. You know, a loss isn't a loss, it's a lesson. If you learn from it, you'll learn from everything. You know. Learn from everything, from from when you jab, you get hit, when you Jabb tell when you hit the bag. You know. I'm saying the bag. If you know, you know hitting the bag right. I mean listen and learn. Know, try to pick SOC up as much knowledge as you can, but keep learning. And I'm like I say, learn no matter what. If you lose. If you lost, you know, a loss is not a loss it. It's a lesson if you learn from it. Keep learning. Know, if you stop learning, you know I mean that you don't want to learn. You didn't you shouldn't be boxing. Let's if you if you want to learn, keep learning. Tape all your your videos, like take you know, have somebody record when you spurn. Try to record when you shut up boxing, and don't just let your try and do all the work. You know, you learn from yourself. Now, mean be you're all coach to down Logeus, your coach, to be the only coach you got. A coach yourself self, because at the end of the day, you're going to be the one that's in there. And never don't stop. Manally, know, don't stop. Take as less punishment as you can. Keep grinding and when you reach the top, you know, the the ceiling. You know, open up the ceiling and go furthest keep going for it further the definitely. Definitely. And Yeah, I think even today people have advantage over like when you serges, with all the new technology, like you said, like recording on your phone and stuff like that. Absolutely, Man, listen, I'm telling you. We I record my stuff out. Wish up war boy, if, if I have opportunity right now or if they sell. Okay, Becauz, I'm forty sixth lap right like all. He's...

...too old right now. So you just take take about eight years off my off, my off my arm, my my age, and you give me the opportunity with the technology and everything we got. Not I'm getting out. Really would sink cast one reason, one reason I really did Spain, cast is even more, is because I was only fighting once a year. So if I had a chance to change summer my career, I will fight more. Yeah, that's when out for a lot on the contener man, I was I got sharp, press sharper and if you don't look and see what I did, a Bravo on my Youtube Channel at K now box, and my goodness, I was so sharp because I was fighting back to back to back to back and I didn't give myself a chance to win. So you fight specially like when I'm for Carlo, because I wasn't fighting for once a year. As you get older, you don't give use up a good chance to win. Yeah, yeah, definitely, definitely. Are you ready for some fun questions? You go from average average. Now what's what's your favorite song right now. My favorite song right now. Run till I finish. WHO's that by? It's a Gospel Song. It's a guy. Can't really remember was by, but that Mug is cold, boy. What about? What's your favorite meal after a fight? All, my favorite to fight actually is cheesecake. All right, it's some strawberries on it was strawberry. All right, is a good one. What about? What do you like to do in your free time? All my free time really just like to spend time with the family, know, go to the family, really go to the fact be spent time with the family, like go to movies, play basketball, shoot, man. Really, yeah, just really relax. I liked my own my all time. I like to just relax, really relaxed, spend time with the family. Yeah, got you, got you. And last one. If you weren't a boxer, what do you think you would have done? Man, I would say rapper, because I used to wrap to be cold and rapping, but you know, but high rap. Just want a whole different way of the Iluminai type stuff. Man, if if I have some height. It's true, I would have been a basketball player because where I can play some board now. Really wanted to be a basketball player. But, Um, I will say, let me see. Maybe, oh, that's a good one, because I want I like being about. There's a police sourcer. I kind of respect the police officers, but they get a bad name because it was that you were bad. So that's a good one, man. That's a good one. That's a good one. Probably, probably, probably, a teacher or something. I can see it. It probably, it probably teacher because, you know, I'm already I'm already teaching people how to box and stuff like that. So, Ye, once a teacher, man, just teaching this period me as a teacher in school, because I love a kids. One thing about me. I love kids, man, and I love the teacher kids, because they don't know no better, you know. So I try to I'll try my best to help them as much as I can, any kind of kids, especially boxing about God. So I would just say a teacher because and not just a regular teacher, like it's sitting in class. It's a teacher, period, teacher in life. What happens? I been doing it, though, like you may have a job doing, you know. Yeah, definitely like it now, and that at the death as a teacher, you know, working and working in jail. I would love to working in jail system to people that got a chance to get out. Yeah, yeah, because you know people that don't have any chance to get out. Man, it's like, man, what can you really each other up? We know it's really like, you know, I'm gonna tell him, man, get safe. But the people that got a chance to get out, I would love to work out of jail. Still. People get a chance to get out and kind of, you know, break it down to him, and so they legal part of that. Man, they can have you know, you know, they won't, they won't ever come back. Definitely, definitely. Actually, I forgot to ask you guys about that. So what's up? What's up a little canine up to? Yeah, he's doing real good. He's doing real good. He didn't go to school that because he know, he literally his head was hurting last night. So but he's been doing real good, man. He had close before the amateur fights. I had had...

...like eighteen amateurs face this year alone. So He's definitely not doing what I was doing. One fight a year. He had eighteen. So he's doing real good. But he know he's number nine in a country at a middleway. But I want fifty too, and what pop you to is number nine the country with a better way. He's number three in the country. so He's been doing real good. He's know south for six foot one man, eighteen years old. Good Kid. He Ain't out here and the club's Party. I'm so proud of. He's doing real good. And shout to my mom, my wife too, bad ass beat Chels, who with my videos. Man, she cold and she actually can work. I believe she can work for CBS or channel to a peg sports, because she put the video together for real. And you real good. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, it was wondering who is doing? I thought you were doing. Yeah, yeah, we helped me out. We Really. We work as a team. Yeah, yeah, well, I appreciate you coming on and you could do let the people know where they can find you at. Oh yeah, I want to say to them. You know, like you got any fighters? Many looking for a good adviser? Man, let me know. I just didn't been a manager. I manager who fighters, many, a hard people. Man. Fighters are very hard to deal with, but AVISORVIS fighters. But you know, I did. Anybody want to reach out the cake, they can see me. All you can reach out to me at K now box.
