That's at we're going to jump into that latertoo. So I know you said you grew up in South Carolina. So how did you end up?Moving to Connecticut welliwell before I came up to Connecticut, I graduatedfrom Georgia Southern University in Georgia, and I was on down there abouttwo years after I graduated I was working like with a roofing company andthen one of my friends. I graduated withtold me about this company that moved he around and you get to see differentparts. Ofo Date An and you get the workand get paid, and so I end upjumping Ong with that company in a the first job opportunity they gave. Youwas like you gant to go up Connecticut, so the first stare I had was trettycold. I hear up there, so I thought about it. A little bit. Bu like youknow, never been up there. So you know I decided to go bin Loving ever keptthe PACTI COB Yehi'm been loving it every CID yeah. For sure I mean nowit's Getteng to that point where it's like where's the snow, and you knowit's coming soon, so yeah suppose to get a big ine tonight, ouly, not too much when you moved up to connecticuts. That's how you go in to Ma Ma Right, EL NO YEAH! I was spiting ever since...

...two thousand and eleven I er had. I had thinkwa like eleven Hamateur pight downin the southeast haheld two different titles down there, so you mean ie pretty much everywhere.Florida CA, Carolina, Alabama, Goth, Carolina South Carolina go definitelydefinitely was roal verse. When I came up to Connecticut kind of Morgaing atpiing chain because really ptisn, you get Tou guys down there, but you o notas big as you did SOS up there everyones a little bit closer, so doinJa a whole bunch of different styles and kind of find tuing. My game. When Icame up here and then you know, eventually, on wit, pro two thousand and fifteen, so yeahbasically answered my nect question. I was Goinna say like how'd, you get intoaname Wer like what's your? How did you like get passionate about like fighting?Basically Tkin, not a weird story, but my one of my good friends, Nick eqectmydown in Georgia Yoa when I first met him. He was a real skinny guy and hesaid you know he asite a doonemaand ias like sure you do and he said, Comu an Iwas. I A FIHTIN E andyou beat this guy up, putting o Trianglen Piin the seet as AK. I coulddo that and you know ever since beene started started, training and- and Isay I started training- probably mayore June of two thousand and eleven- and Ihad my first fight in July, two thousand and eleven and you know Sokevery dektinand. You know I mean that was something I really wanted to do. Iput a lot of my energy, an and focking on it Gotca. So Youa know like evenlike boxing or any other mor e that that's what they really want. You knowmean they wanted me to like di Yu Git...

...to Eah, and so you know I get myperstonog any I mean I got cold and INMY DEGITON IAS like Emanyou know welike the stit O, then after the months Tran get o there like hey, you got thipiht Te Tingin Uon it Iwas, Lik Ey. Why not? And so you know I took that BIHE.I think it was like two weeks you knowtic tha, they sad' wantd to fightdown at for in no, I am Man Cook it and Res History, yeah for sure so kind ofjust like a kind of just like fill into your lap. Almost yeah H, you mean Idefinitely I love competing. I Love De Thang San Actor and you know along WiBreathyn. You know I still had that drab to be at a high level, didn'treally get the compete in college, an wrestling but still wante. U T do stuff, and you know someone just mentioned it. I looke into it and you know for sure,es stuff. This happened sometimes, and how did you? How D you get the nickname, the fort well rigularly? My Lik name was machine, and you know that I kindof corn that phrase for myself all my friends down out. Matyure you're,familiar with the civil war. Fort Sumter, is a crecrucial position forsupport. That was in the civil war and though you know definitely with Georgia, history, sout, Caolinin history, it's really big and you know they kepttelling me Amay used to change. He name to the sport port, don't know man, it k,kind of changed, Corny and then Ri formor Fok Bi. I first broke by B myfrend Poy, O Aman. You really need to change your give your name to the port, and then I thought about it. I was like hey, you know it kind of does ring, andso you know that's that's how the name came about e sure. I like, I think it's.I think it's kind of unique yeah now now that I know that story now. I thinkit's more unique like I like you brought it before. I know some peopledon't know that you actually have a dayti daytime job. So what do you dofor your daytime job yeah, pratic manager for costruction company IO,struction, Ot of Danbury yeah so like...

...that kind of takes o know when I'm nottraining, I'm working so yeah ssom, some guys have a little bit F. Lutury, where you know they ony going to do is train and you know they work at the gymand that kind of God thing. But you know I have a Backusan science in tomegoneering technology. One tooonto pay for that t piece of Paperi have to work,so I'm suredefinitely am, but you know mean I like. I like the different ANDECS, the job starting to drob up, make ser stuff riing properly an in caselike that for sure you think you think, just having that job gives you moremotivation for fighting yeah yeah, you mean. Definitely, you know justecauselike a lot of people. You see them. They just train in there like Oti hereas a Dogo te GAM, trainankind of have a Tingar focus. Well, my deal was is likeyou know, fighting is evaday expiration dat. I you can't fight when Youre yourwell Yoah, yeah, Kn FYOU, know you can't fight not thatmany people fight when they're during the S- or you know, pat that so youknow I Wontani won't wanted something to one have a fallback plan o when I'mnot fighting. You know if the part that I don't make that you know thosemillions and mays of dollar that you know I am going to make. But you knowit might not happen, so you know I definitely have a Grar to fall, backgonei and support. My family yeah definitely always good to have a backupplan and yeah, and you made your major pro debut at Belotour on hundred andfifty three, and so it's Ironicyou're about to fight for Bellatour coming up-and I know you lost your first flight, but then you went for or you went, O noverse for no fighter so yeah. So what...

...was that you? Just? How did that fightcome about? You were just like screwed onm taking the flight, even though theguys Forin Up Yeah Y. AH I mean like athat. You know. I consider that that fight my lastamateur fight, yeah and the reason why, even though it as professional y, gotpad an AL that stuf but jus at tha learning, you know like what Leing aHamateur like you can sell. With my my Fihe, you know I mean I was. I wantedyou to throw me in then with sharks. You know mean I swim. You know my first, like I told you my first AL amateur fight. I you know tha two week noticedbike and I thought a guy tha was fiving up, so it was. You know. My mentality was ato put me in there with the guys that that are supposed to be there, and youknow I mean I'm trying to swim in swim esectatly. So you know you put me intherrestaction and I turn out to be a bigger SIRT yeah like you're down for the going into that Fi. You know I meanifyou watch that you know I I was winning, but you know I just made one like stake. You know definitely my Mycardio wasn'n what it should have been and you know, end up blusing. So you know. I just think that it's the learning experience you know, even though I had to it, wasa paying where your experience yoput your Exta, get in and learn from it Ti.STREIGTH PIX win back to back, so not starting off undefeated. I think thateven puts less pressure on you just because you know I mean likebeingundefeated, especially Ma like it's, always that hey someone's there to takethat e that out. But you know having Ha one, oh my you know, kind of makeallowdyou to relax a little bit and and be a little bit more comfortable when you, when you go out there yeah, definitely and then after that, Fliyh was when youstarted training with Nick Right. So how did? How did that come about how dyou find Nick Nick in the gym and stuff like that? Well, you know I mean likeso after that fight elikeiwas walking...

...through the like Termino Abosn, and hestopp me. An Te is like anymen, O real good. You know, I mean soyou getout there. Your head up Annso happen to Yo was opening agam kind of right upthe street from where I change before, and then you know I mean I knew I wantto be serious about the sporting and tex been. You know all over the world champion world champion. So I knew youknow if I wanted to take that next level to be a well rounded, well developed biter, youknow, after at Te Change, it can go say, is Yeah Yeh, definitely get Tgen thisgreat, it's crazy as stuff. Just like happens like that, O it's awesome yeahI mean, I think I think it's like a it's kind of a like a sign. You knowpositive suttracting, he I kind of put Tryin to keep peting positive energyout there in the world n and singer later thatikind of bring aboutut things in front of me. You know when Theyrii ees the moment and you know kind ofcompouns- and you know sooner later, like you, you see yourself in a bettercircumstance, just because you're Etakina right Te, Dong, the right thingand everything kind of works, Oun that way yeah for sure, yeah, positive, positive energy, just put it out there and it comes back to you right yeah and after that you went you Wev five, an noand and then you got the fight with theDANAWIKE AF tender series. I know you yout a tough opponent. I was a LFA champ and and he ended up losingbut like what was that whole experience like yeah, it was a good experience andI mean justto be out there. Intyou know te FAC for Dana, and you know you seethat tha kind of environment that you know I know Ip along there. You know Imean it just you know just so happen that the card Delly didn't fall in myfavor, but you know an I'm not taking...

...it asas I set back more but set up thisomething better. So you know thankful for opportunity. You know defitel. Definitely Imade Im made a comistake in the fight, and you know I learned from that, and you knowseeing him be successful at the high level it was the glast figted. Itreally put a fenter, my Capen, like hey, you know, I mean I now I'm not gon, bethat guy and I just got to get in there get in there andprove it again. So I'mjust anxiousty, you know get this pight over res O get another mon kind of beback where it was coom to be back on this SOK so yeah. Definitely, and sospeaking of that. So all this comes back full circle, you're about to beback Belltour t sixteen February sixteent, and is that like crazy, thatit was like your first flight on Bellator? Now this is like your bigfight right now coming up, I'M BELLAS OREEGAN YEAH! You mean I. I reallywanted to kind of o Kn W. have that a my my teconfightibel or a little bit sooner, but you know I mean it'oting Bro, so youknow just be back there. You know with alls on my experience of all the fictthat I've had and everything I've learned feels even better to to step back in thereand know that you know I'm well prepared well developed SPRA, O justOkat fo skiles. Do you know who your opponent is yet yeh? My poin is Reginado Fevic out of Mascusetts. I believe I forget what Campis ot of but Gat coseopponent o. what's his record he's priving to okay? So so it's gonnabe a good matchup. Then yeah, I think he's like rink number, four in heregion, so definitely definitey goot opponent well rounded. So it should definitely be a good tec.

For me for sure it's going to be on thezone right, you'Rebeini'm, notiont, ieohis own thing is right as yet 'm,I'm still kind ogtting up te date on it. Yeah Yeah, I'm kind of confuse on it. Idon't know if they're, showing the whole card on the zone or not, but Ifeel like they kind of I feel like they are, but I'm not I'm not a hundredPerent Po. So dnto take my word on that yeah, and so so what can we expect tosee from you Febuary? Sixteen, you know just just being well routedcompolective and you know just fin to impose my will ing a lot of peoplethere. They kind of want to see that you know e back to my owases of notkeep out, but you know I'm just going to o now take this on V and in jusimpose my will put them in back.Boean yeatherestle show yeah. Definitely how do you feel that allthese, like connectiut fighters, again big opportunities to shon? Now nowthere? I know three people that you train with or two other people a trainit theire get on the belanturcards if Mike Kimball and Jesse yeahngateallythefuny thing about it is you know, as of lat, ive every seen alot of people that Ave I've been training wash personally gein the elimelight, and you know getting that that stepping up tat, Nix, Evelan and beingsocased by these poponizations, you know get the well known Guy Itninand UFC. I got Mi both both friends, bloecheck ther and car robins therefighting each other. You know I mean I'm for a great great pipe between them, not Tiin side, but you know just saeing people that I'm traying with top levelpeople that I'm training with are getting to the top level. So it's areal inge Dinger on the Rock speclly...
